Wallace Creek COE, Enid, Mississippi?

Has anyone stayed here recently? I am checking into staying there in April hopefully if the government shutdown is over. When looking at this campground website it has this warning "This campground is under renovation and site locations may differ from map locations". Without a map or confirmation of info on the actual sites I am hesitant to make a reservation. With the government shutdown I am sure there is no one working on the renovation or in the office.

First of all, if the bridge is still under construction a detour will take you over the river and through the woods but you'll get there ok.

I didn't find any particular discrepancies between mapped and actual sites. Note that some of the pull-thru sites run downhill while back-in sites on the same road are level.

I drove around a bit and would choose 40,65,67,17,19,21,28,30,32,34 for my 36' DP w/toad.

Stock up at the Walmart or Kroger in Batesville.

Thanks for the site suggestions.

What road is the bridge repair on? I pulled up Google maps and they do not show any construction, so hopefully it is done.

It's immediately east of the highway exit where the road crosses the Yocona River / canal. I was there in early September 2018.

We are here right now and the bridge is still out. The contract to repair it has just recently been given to the contractor and they will start on repairing/rebuilding it in May. The detour road to the campground is a few miles long and most of it is rough. Other than that the campground is great.
