Wanting campground suggestions for Longest Yard Sale

We are waiting for the factory to build our Camplite travel trailer. Meanwhile, we are going on the Longest Yard Sale, as we have done for several years. We have seen RVs parked in people's yards along the route. Since it is normally hot and humid, we need A/C at night, and would like to find a campground for next year, and reserve a place now. Anyone know of campgrounds with at least electric service near the route of the yard sale - Hwy 127.

We did find one in Celina Ohio on Grand Lake St. Mary, and there is Cumberland State Park in Kentucky, but we would like to find one in Tenneessee. Actually, any suggestions for anywhere along the route would be welcome. Thanks. Leslie

Kendall COE campground, just five mile further down the road, at the dam, right next to the fish hatchery is a better campground. Bigger sites, water and electric. Lots of folks on the yard sale route stop there.

We happened to be staying at Still Waters Campground north of Frankfort, KY one year when the sale was going on. The campground is located right off Route 127. Lots of sellers were located south of the campground toward Frankfort.

Still Waters is nothing fancy; but it wasn't crowded and was pretty quiet. It has full hookups and was around $25 a night a couple of years ago.

Just got back from the Yard Sale. Another successful weekend of dickering and making deals. Fun! Thanks for the suggestions. We will definitely check out COE campgrounds. Possibly spend a weekend at Still Waters after we pick up our RV. Have to wait a whole year now before we get to do it again.
