Hi Everyone,
I have a big birthday coming up in late August and decided to take a trip w/ the TT.
I will go up Washington State, to the Olympic Penninsula and stop in the Port Angeles area for a few days, then take the Ferry up to Victoria, B.C.
Can anyone recommend places to stay in these two areas and why?
Thanks!
Sheila :)

While it is the rainy season in the Olympics, the Klaloch and Hoh River campgrounds are nice. These are national park CGs. Klaloch is on the coast, and the hoh is inland in the rainforest.

I agree with Dick's camp ground choices. Another would be Hurricane Ridge south of Port Angeles. There's a camp ground just inside the park. Do you plan on taking your RV to Victoria? If you going for a day trip you may want to walk on. If you are going to spend some time then the Rv will pay. It costs $4.50 per foot for rigs over 18'. Have a good trip.

Thank you both, for you recommendations, I will look them up.
Yes, I am taking the TT to Victoria, as I am staying there for five days. Have already checked the price on the Coho Ferry Website. As this is my first vacation in 8 years, I am going to spluge a bit :)

Salt Creek Recreation Area is a county park about 12-15 miles from Port Angeles. It is located right on the Straight of Juan de Fuca right across from B. C. It's a nice campground that's convenient to Port Angeles and Hurricane Ridge.
