Waterton to St Mary via Chief Mountain Hwy

We are traveling July 8th with our 27ft TT from Waterton National Park in Alberta to St. Mary's Montana and I am looking to use the Chief Mountain Hwy out of Waterton southeast to St. Mary's. Has anyone traveled this way and should I have any concerns about the route. Narrow, Hills, Curves and Speed? Your thoughts are appreciated.

Its been years since I was on that road, and when it was we were travelling in our suburban.

The only thing I suggest is follow the road on Google Earth. I use it to see for any hidden surprises if I'm not familiar with a road or town etc.

We drove this a couple years ago from south to north in our motorhome with toad. The road itself was in fine condition although it is only 2 lane. From the junction to Waterton townsite to the international border is pretty much an uphill grade of several kilometers of at least 6%. The border crossing was efficient and pleasant. Once on the US side watch for livestock on the road as this is open range country.
The KOA is quite large, the sites are of adequate size and full hookups. Views from the cg are spectacular.

We will be at the ST Mary's campground arriving the 13th of July, look for the White Ram 3500 with MO plates and stop and say hi.
