Watkins Glen, NY for Woodstock 2019
Hey everyone! I havent posted in a looong time. A friend of mine is getting tickets for Woodstock 2019 at Watkins Glen, NY. All of the big campsites/RV Parks are booked already. I was wondering if anyone has any inside info on a place with a hookup? We'll be getting there Thursday August 15 through Monday August 19th. We dont necessarily need sewage, although its a perk.
Boondocking is an option, although not preferred for this trip.
Thanks everyone and travel safely!

There supposedly will be RV camping (boondock) at the festival. I was told by one of the festival reps they would be announcing camping details around the first of April.
Not sure yet if we are going to Watkins Glen or Bethel Woods.

Not sure about CG, but I used to work on the Indy Car circuit and finding lodging at Watkins Glen was always a challenge. Mostly small towns in the area with older ma and pa motels that were always full race weekends. I usually ended up driving to Ithaca or Corning for lodging. Beautiful area though.

Havana Glen Park
We dropped by this park while we were staying at Watkins Glen / Corning KOA a few yrs ago, nice little well kept park. Might have some openings.
