Watkins Mill is a GREAT place! Such an historic gem - amazing how it was "saved" for so many to see years after closing.

First time I visited there was in about 1963, rode there in the back of a very long 1913 Hudson Model 37 Touring Car - I was 15 years old. It ran out of gas on the Paseo Bridge!

Later went there as an Assistant Scoutmaster with my own two sons, sometime in the 1980's. Wonderful memories (I think I still have scars from the chiggers, though!)

Weather is perfect, Food is great, Campground is FULL..Electricity is a good 110volts..water is great {for washing your wheels} Beer is cold.
