Came here a week ago. Only one loop was open but it is open year round. The problem is nobody is doing anything to the campground. Tree limbs all over, can't use the bike paths because of tree limbs. None of the burn time have had the ashes cleaned out. Disappointed that all we see DNR ppl do is drive around. We will come back. Lots and lots of deer... Everywhere. Heading to Nashville tomorrow to a C.O.E. campground,. Lock A. Looking forward to it. Have fun RVN

Have you tried SOUTH MARCUM COE CAMPROUND on the south end of Rend Lake, near the dam? Or Gun Creek COE Camp Ground, across the slew from the state park?

I've driven over Rend Lake on 57 a number of times (in a car) and didn't realize those campgrounds were there.

Hopefully the state will get busy and clean it up before the season gets into full swing.

Charles
