There is BLM land surrounding Quartzsite on all sides where you can dry camp, either for free or $40 for a 14-day period (the $$ provides you access to fresh water and a dump).
Here are the directions to all Quartzsite BLM areas, both free and fee.
There are also lots of RV parks in Quartzsite, but I'd recommend reservations if you're going to be staying more than just a few days. The time around the RV show is a very busy time here in Q!!!
Here is a partial list of RV parks in and around Q. So far, I haven't found a source that lists ALL Q RV parks...there are literally dozens of small RV parks scattered around Q which aren't listed in any directory, including websites.
You WILL want to bring your toad, or at least bicycles, motorcycles, scooters, etc., although you probably would not have too much of a problem finding a place to park in your 23' View. I don't advise anyone with a larger rig to bring it into town and expect to find a place to park!
Bring plenty of patience! The roads get really, really crowded during January, and particularly during the 10 days of the RV Show. Making matters worse are the gawkers who stop in the middle of the road to look around and decide what vendor they want to visit. Please, just find a place to park and then walk around.
The partial list of RV parks to which I gave the link, above, is part of a larger website that has a lot of other information about Q including links to other websites for even more information. Spend a little time perusing it.
