West berlin NJ

In a couple of weeks i am going to take a couple of my kids to Diggerland in west berlin new jersey. Was hoping someone had some knowledge of that area and could steer us to a cool campground in that general area. Any help is appreciated. I did look at rv parky app and dont come up with much. Thanks.

The Pine Barrens are just a bit East of West Berlin, Parvin State Park is there. Department of Environmental Protection Many years ago I attended a tracking workshop in the Pine Barrens. You are also not far from the seaside towns. I like Cape May for all the old restored Victorian homes, Bed and Breakfasts, board walk, and the lighthouse. Ocean City, Wildwood have boardwalks to see and of course the beaches.

I've visited Cape May numerous times, and stayed a few weeks over the years, but I've never camped there.

I've taken the Lewes Ferry a few times, once in a car and a couple times with bicycles. Nice ride, I'd imagine a bit pricey for an RV, but cheaper than driving up to the Delaware River Bridge.

I have been following this post and trying to come up with a good recommendation. From being from New Jersey I can't recommend any of the state parks, they do not have any electric or water hookups and most do not allow dogs.
We have also camped in the Cape May area in the past and from camping in many other states at various private and government parks we also can't recommend any parks that meet our expectations.

Sorry we can't be more assistance to you. Would camping in Pennsylvania and commuting in be a option ? Maybe the Philadelphia / West Chester KOA?

If it is near Cape May, we have stayed at 2 campgrounds there. We were at Seashore Campground last weekend. It is a nice campground but can be hard to get reservations.

We also stayed at Beachcomber Resort. It was nice as well, however, difficult to park in a big rig. We stayed in our 38' class A and had trouble maneuvering into the spot. If you are traveling in something smaller, you may have no trouble, and I think they are easier to get reservations in.

If you stay there, then along with Diggerland, you would have beaches and the boardwalk nearby.
