Something to consider on any of the coastal beaches. During the 60's a cousin and his DW & Dd were camping on the beach (above the high tide mark) with truck & camper on Wa. coast. In the middle of the night something woke him up. When he looked out, he saw nothing but water. He grabbed DD and they jumped out into waist deep water and made it to dry ground. A wave turned the RV over and it was totaled. There had been an earth quake in Alaska. I think they have better warning systems in place now. (But)

Really? If you were to consider every possible natural disaster that could happen, you would never go anywhere. If these same pictures were taken at a camp ground in the woods, would you be warning of potential forest fire?

I'm good with God and sleep with one eye open, plus I have a 7 lbs Pomeranian "Dog" he keeps me Safe. I use a boat Wax just in case ;-) Remember it's God's plan is not my plan

Once you get north of Santa Barbara the beaches will be relatively empty and north of San Francisco you will have them all to yourself much of the time, even on a Memorial Day weekend.
