Several RV parks exist very close to the West entrance to Glacier National Park...in the town of West Glacier.

I have 35 foot motor home and look to visit late Sept 09. I'd appreciate any specific park recs or stay aways..

Thanks,

Pubtym

Charlie,
We have stayed at the West Glacier KOA and found it a nice place. Lots of room for big rigs. In the summer it's also busy with families but you cannot get much closer to the park.

Glacier NP is awesome!

I recommend Mountain Meadow RV Park in Hungry Horse. We stayed there two weeks in 2006. Very nice, very clean and nice people. Couldn't ask for more.

We have reservations for the Mountain Meadow in August. We have read and heard many good things about it, and hope to prove they are true

Hi everyone,

Good info on full/partial hookup parks. Does anyone have experience with the NPS campgrounds inside Glacier? Fish Creek, etc.? I have a 35ft 5er. Thanks!

We stayed here at Apgar, thought it was great, close to the Shuttle which was great for us since we don't tow.
