West Glacier National Park, Montana

Looking for a close campground near West Glacier National Park with approximate driving times to the park. I am also an Elk member and I understand there is an Elk's lodge in Kalispell. Approximately how far is this lodge to the park entrance. Hope to arrive around mid-August.

We stayed in Mountain Meadows about 10 minutes from the West entrance. Nice place with plenty of shade.

Columbia Falls is close and has a great rv park.
Kalispell is quite a ways if I remember correctly.

Just left the Glacier NP area. Kalispell is too far from GNP for me. Columbia Falls is 13 miles from west entrance and traffic was not bad. CFRVP is class A and we felt safe. Pull thru sites at front near dog park are really nice with patios and patio type table and chairs.

Columbia Falls RV Resort in Columbia Falls. It is on the east end of town. As others have noted, it is close to the West Entrance. A nice park, well run and well maintained.

I'm currently at the KOA in West Glacier. It is a nice park. About 5 miles at the most to the west gate.
