With our car on a KarKaddy, backing into any campground parking slot is not an option for us -- pull through, please. We opted to drive to Bozeman,MT and take Hwy 89/191. We've been staying at the Grizzly RV Park in West Yellowstone -- which is less than 1/2 mile from the west entrance of the park.

Grizzly is a nice park. Clean facilities, paved streets, gravel parking spots, and grassy lots. Two dump stations. Very friendly and helpful folk working there!

Oh yes, free coffee, hot chocolate and cappuccino from 7 - 11 a.m.!

Another great (but also seasonal park) is Redrock RV Park at Idaho Falls. Extremely quiet, LARGE sites, friendly owners and staff, 20 minutes from West Yellowstone. We've stayed there 2 years in a row now.

You meant Island Park, ID (the city with the longest Main Street in USA) not Idaho Falls which is a long way from W Yellowstone.

We also stayed at Grizzly Rv Park and were very impressed. We like the woodsy kind of camping so we pulled as far back as possible so that we were adjacent to the woods. We also did not have a tow vehicle and were able to rent a car from them which delivered to us. I would absolutely reccomend this rv park.

Personally, I cannot recommend staying at Grizzly RV Park.

See, the thing is, we stay there quite often and it's getting more popular all the time. So, please don't stay there - leave some room for me.

I also have to give Grizzly Rv Park the thumbs up. They have the nicest staff I have ever run into at any park. One clean place and hope to get back there soon. Everything about the place is just AAA to me.
