What was the best RV park you have ever stayed at?

Newbie here, I'm looking for some ideas for my future travel plans and it would be great to hear from people who were very happy with a rv resort, the places with great amenitys, activities, etc. Just want to get a bucket list started of the "best" must see places in the USA. Places that you would recomend, or go back to again and again. Looking forward to hearing and learning from everyones experiances.

Best in the West

Two I would recommend would be Grizzly RV Park in West Yellowstone, and the Grand Canyon Railroad RV Park in Williams Arizona. Both pricy but both excellent and near attractions that are must sees.

Well... I know you're looking for "resort" type campgrounds.. but I would be remiss if I didn't suggest Peninsula State Park in Door County, WI..

It's the crown jewel of state parks here in Wisconsin... the sites only have electric and there aren't any "resort" amenities... but it sure does have a lot to offer.. it's probably our favorite campground and we try to get up there at least a couple times a year..

If you're into hiking, biking or just getting in touch with nature, there is no better place in Wisconsin.. the park is situated on the bluffs overlooking Lake Michigan/Green Bay.. you have lake access for any water activities too.. The tree canopy bike and hiking trails are awesome... and if you bring a toad you can drive up/down Hwy 42 visiting little towns likeu Sturgeon Bay, Egg Harbor, Fish Creek, Ephraim, Sister Bay and all the way up to Gills Rock.. and if you make it to Gills Rock, take the ferry to Washington Island..

They call Door County the "Cape Cod of the Midwest"...

Check out these two links:

Peninsula State Park - Wisconsin DNR

Door County, Wisconsin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sorry about rambling... it's just a very special place...
