What's happening to Resorts of Distinction?

What is happening?
Why are resorts dropping out of their system by the bunches?
Are they making plans to add?

Anyone with answers?

For what ever reason (rumors Abound as to why) Thousand Trails/Leisure Time/NACO parted ways with ROD but, that was the loss of many parks. The next big player is probably Western Horizon Resorts who is slowly selling off their parks to companies who are not membership parks so these parks are withdrawn also. Other than that I am unaware of any great exodus of parks from the system.

I am sure they would like to find other parks to add since the loss of parks makes membership in ROD considerably less appealing than it has been in the past.

TT/Naco/Encore dropped for many rumored reasons but..

I have to state here I"m not up on the ROD rules and regs.. I do know that some of their competitors ONLY represent membership parks, if your park is open to the public you are not eligable.. And if you'd like to take the open site beside me just now (I'm in a TT park) it will cost you (Assuming you are not a member) 35 dollars a night, Full hookup 30 amp, decent Wi-Fi. (But it might be better for me than thee (Word chose due to rhyme) thanks to my Wi-Fi Modem)
Home is where I park it!

Stay away from ROD - "resorts of distinction" was a member for over 7 years and since I bought RPI they decided I needed to pay them a fee to get my travel account balance refunded. I've emailed and called. They are no help. A call to the BBB is next.
