Lake Bled, Yugoslavia; Rothenberg ob der Tauber, Germany; Fritz Creek, Alaska; and, of course, Pagosa Springs, Colorado

Joe, I agree that Pagosa is lovely but we are in Hotchkiss and have to plug our town. No fast food, no big box stores, not remarkable restaurants. Farm and ranching community with vineyards, orchards, Black Canyon on side and the Grand Mesa on the other.
Looks like a Chrismas card this morning! Merry Chrisrmas all!

For me it would be the coast of Oregon southbound on 101, with all of its pull offs and natural beauty. For my better half who delights in quaint shops and small old towns, it would be Manitou Springs, Co.

Well, I'll agree that Hotchkiss is a beautiful place - I used to live there when I was about 4 or 5 years old.

(I lived in a travel trailer there, so it should count on an RV Forum)

I left that one off my list - you're right! Gorgeous place...

Right down the road from Petroskey is Charlevoix, MI. Also a special little town.

Took the words right out of my fingers.
