This location is actually in between Busskipper's guess of Monument Valley and rarebear's guess of Moab. It is in Garden of the Gods, UT. Just north of Mexican Hat, sort of a miniature Monument Valley.

So West Virginia - While my brother lives there and we drive through often, this is not filed in my list of Places, the rocks are East Coast, just can't place the view.
