Nope, not even in an adjoining state! It's a fairly iconic viewpoint - I think anyone who has been in the park will know it :-)

Guess I haven't been there.
Someplace you've been to recently? I'm guessing you're somewhat South for the winter. And it's in a park, maybe National Park, hmmmm....

Love the photo.... not a clue where it's at. I've never been touring anywhere much east of Colorado except in the DC area and a very little in south Florida. I am definitely directionally challenged - it's a struggle to drag me away from the west that I love.
Here's one to think about :

Where was the RV on the bridge taken? I don't find an answer.

Is this highway 44 going into the badlands in South Dakota? Never mind, did not see the mountains in the background at first

The bridge photo is here: 38°01'04.8"N 107°39'55.3"W
(Just stick it in Google Maps.)
I had been across it a few times before I looked down. It's a one lane bridge so you aren't really looking around when you drive over it. It's on the access road up to the Amphitheater campground. The campground is 600' above Ouray. There's an overlook where you can watch everything going on down in town:

Thanks for the answer. We've been in Silverton/Ouray/Lake City so many times and I know we took the Jeep to scout out that campground but thought the sites were too small for our 40' motorhome. So I guess we did drive that bridge but after all the fine Jeepin' in the area it probably wasn't a big deal to us.
