Where to park overnight?

Where are the safe places to park for free or even a little fee. Your ideas are appreciated.

Depends. Some city or county parks offer overnights. Some fair grounds also offer camping.

We use in no particular order: Freecampsites.net Ultimatecampgrounds.com, Casinocamper.org. BLM & NFS Lands, Trust Lands AZ, Wildlife refuges, WMAs in Fla, and when on the fly without any plans but just "feeling" we'd like to stop soon: Churches mid week; Elks clubs, Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart, McD's, various other businesses with large usually gravelled non-busy parking areas, Restaurants we've maybe dined at with permission. RV Dealerships entry areas, Fuel Stops like Flying J's, Welcome Centres often, Rest Areas patrolled. Marinas, Fishing areas, roadside pull ins, if set back far enough.

When it comes to O/N's we've found there's a myriad of places to pull over safely and soundly with a little common sense, and consequently we dry camp/boondock over 95% of the time during our travels of many years and we rarely ever book into CG's unless hitting a very high populated area like say LA, NYC, Seattle etc and then typically only do so a few days/week prior for the most part, in case we wish to spend longer or have any RV issues enroute.

Check out TravelwithKevinandRuth.com, frugal RVers FT since their mid 40's and find some of the most awesome boondocking locations, even sometimes small airports for an overnight!

Most Walmart's...Before a long driving trip I'll scope out Walmart's every 400 miles. I'll do a Google search on Street View to see what kind of area that store is in. What other kind stores are in the plaza.

Also Cabela's offers nice RV over-night parking...

We will stay at Wal-Marts, Pilot/Flying J, Love's, TA America and roadside rest areas for years and never had a problem with any of them. Plus they're all free.

That's an easy one: Day's End. Google it. 900 pages of BD sites through out the US, Canada Yukon and Alaska. Been working for us for 17 years.
