We stayed at this park for a month back a couple years ago and enjoyed it a lot. Not a lot of amenities but the people are great, the park is about as close to nature as you can get and still be handy to the city. About 15-20 minutes to downtown.

Stayed at Travelers World last week. Nice park and friendly staff. City bus will pick you up at the gate and take you to the river walk for $1.20.

Walk path to river walk goes right past the park. They said it was a 5 mile walk. Now that didn't have my name on it. Be great for bike id say.

Love Travelers World, be cautious on route to them however, GPS tried taking me over some RR tracks that there is no way I wouldn't get high centered. Awesome Mexican Food restaurant across the street also. I hope you get to make your trip!

I live close to both Blazing Star and Admiralty parks and have brought my motorhome to both. My personal preference is Admiralty. The manager could not have been more helpful. I think it it a bit easier to move a large coach around the park at Admiralty. If you would like to take the bus downtown there is a stop within a two minute walk from the park. There are many places to eat just a very short drive away. The main entrance to Sea World is five blocks away on the same street as the park.

We stayed there a few years ago and again last December and Travelers World is nice. We tried the Mexican place both times we were there and it was far from awesome IMHO. Take the bus from the park to the river walk like a previous poster said. Great ride. Look for the Mexican restaurant on the way to the walk on the left side. That one was awesome!
