Leaving Friday for one last "hurrah" for a weekend at Golden Hill State Park in upstate New York. After that, sadley, I'll have to start winterizing our girl.

West Branch State Park in Ohio - Hoping to get a last couple of days on the Jetskis before I have to put them up for the winter. Supposed to be in the upper 70s over the next couple days.

Sure wish we could have gone with you! Some 30 years ago I went through there, what great folks. I didn't have my rifle with me but a half dozen rendezvouser's offered me a loaner. Maybe next year!

Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas

Starting tomorrow from an hour west of Waco in central Texas. To NE Texas, Caddo Lake State Park. Then Monday to Tenkiller Lake, Cherokee Landing State Park. Tuesday to NW Arkansas, and east. Staying about a week or more. Just going to explore the Ozarks for the first time. Back to central Texas early part of October.

Grove, OK

Thanks, Ridgmar. I do not think we are going that far north in Oklahoma. But not sure. Most of our time in Arkansas will be out of Flippin Arkansas. BIL has land on White river below Bull Shoals Lake and we are going to look to see if we can dry camp there for a time. And somewhere on this trip, before or after Flippin, we want to at least see Branson Missouri. We will look. This may be the time, before Flippin. If that is the case, Grove may be on the list. Thanks again.

We will be RVing on Lee Creek between Van Buren and Dora AR wrapping up a 4 1/2 month adventure to Alaska ...as for "camping", we have done that, and this (tile & carpeted floors, ac, microwave, select comfort bed, sat TV, etc) ain't camping!

Hot Springs, AR

Last night at Cloud 9 RV Park. Drug up this morning. Went there for the view. Not much of view, trees have grown up around park blocking much of what would be a great view. And a hard time walking dogs, lots of elevation changes and uneven grounds. Showers had no privacy, just out in the open in bathrooms. Now at Catherines Landing. Very sweet park. We are across the street from a fenced dog walk. Showers have doors for privacy. Pool. Lake. I believe we will stay in this one.

Catherines Landing in Hot Springs was great. On way back home spent the last two nights at Tyler State Park, outside of Tyler Texas. Pretty park, full hookups, lovely lake. Bathrooms and showers were old, outdated. Raccoons seem to love the place. They were all over our campsite last night, just before dark thirty. Today is the last 200 miles to home, an hour west of Waco. Happy Trails.
