Going up North in Wisconsin to check out the fall colors. Suppose to rain all weekend, for those of us still working a rainy weekend of camping is still better than a good day at work. Jim

Leaving Thursday AM for Door County Wi. Will spend Thursday night south of Green Bay and then on to the northern end of the Door County Peninsula. Back home on Columbus Day.

Haven't been there for several years now but always enjoyed the Harvest Festival that goes on each Columbus Day Weekend.

Ready for a fish boil. Yum!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in Crockett, TX at the Pineknot Fiberglass RV Rally this weekend. About 100 fiberglass rigs, mostly Casitas. Tomorrow morning, I'll head west to Catalina State Park, AZ for a Casita Solos Rally.

Retired life is GOOD!

Can you believe it? The radio is saying SD Badlands have 3' of SNOW and, its only the first week of October.

Just came back from cedarbrook in lebanon, oh. For our annual halloween haunt.
Weather was beautiful friday, took my girls through their first haunted house saturday night - what a hoot that was. And then it rained from 8pm sat night and still raining now.

Heading out for the annual pilgrimage to Stone Mountain GA for the Fall/Pumpkin festival. Weather looks great, should be lots of fun with the kiddies and friends. Pumpkin patch at the CG, then decorating, and sat night laser/fireworks show.

SE Camper Rally

For Marcia and I, the SE camper rally, sponsored by LazyDays RV and Lance Campers, was our first. What a hoot... In over 40 years of truck camping, this was our first and won't be the last. We hope to have lasting friendships from this event.

Anyway, photos are posted on our www.FaceBook.com/HotSpotCoffeeShoppe page for anyone that is signed up with FB. However, I've also posted them on www.HotSpotCoffeeShoppe.com/events.html. The latter are contrast adjusted and optimized.

The DW and I spent the weekend at Elk Neck state park in MD. We really like the this park, 50 amp service and full hookups. We were hoping for fall colors but I guess it's still a little early, trees were just starting to change. We did take a nice walk along the Elk neck river and spent lots of time sitting around the campfire.
