Wi-Fi Hot Spots Coverage Senators Wash

Hello, We have been snow-birding from Canada now for 3 years and generally spending time in the SW Deserts. We have been using a Virgin Mobile Mi-Fi pay as we go for Internet access with mixed results, and currently bad. I'm pretty much giving up on it and looking at a replacement system.

Seems like Verizon is still the leader in reception and ATT a close second from what I'm hearing. We also have a Samsung Tracfone for cellular which has been OK, but not great depending on location. We tried our home cellular from Telus but roaming charges were outrageous. We also have a Wilson Cell booster which helps us in some areas.

I would love to hear from anyone who is currently staying at the Senators Wash LTVA or nearby what is and what isn't working for Hot Spots and Cell coverages. I guess if ATT doesn't work I won't hear from you guys, but maybe your neighbors will speak on your behalf.

I would just go with Verizon but their Data plans are pricy so would like to give ATT's Go a try if it works in the places we want to be like Senators Wash. We also in general like to boondock in more out of the way quiet locations but coverage may affect our choices. Any feedback is welcome. I acknowledge other forum users have made comments on coverage in the area of Senators Wash specifically about a year ago, but with the recent upgrades to 4G coverage I wondered if things had improved or changed.

Thanks in advance.

I can't speak to the specific location. My mifi hotspot device on Verizon has definitely had signal where others have not. Usually the same goes for my iphone on AT&T. I use a coverage app that shows coverage for a location for the major networks. Using this it's clear that Verizon and AT&T have better coverage outside of city areas.

I have an Iphone with a att hot spot and a verizon puck. Verizon gets reception almost everywhere. ATT does not. In remote areas Verizon is more likely to work than ATT.
