Willow Wind RV Park
We stay at Willow Wind RV Park, Hurricane Utah last week. One of the cleanest parks we have been in. Very nice mature shade trees to ward off the summer sun. Concrete pads, pull in, back in also, Their cable offer about 7 channels. If your in the shade area, most likely your statilite system will not work. Nice base location for Zion National Park. We did Bryce Canyon, Cedar Breaks, and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Your about 20 minutes from Zion, the other locations are a bit further out. Zion does have a campground, but it sure look really crowded as we made out way through the park. Resturants we visited in Hurricane were sub par. Average at best, and it all seemed to taste the same no matter if it Mexican or Asian. Zion and Bryce offer a shuttle that is great. I would strongly suggest to start early, crowds form fast. We arrived around 930 and lucked out getting a parking place by the Visitor Center. Limited parking in all places, they say, if you arrive after 10am park outside the park and use shuttle. Good advise, as when we return to the Visitor Center about 3 hours later, there had to be over 200 people in line for the shuttle. The scenery in all locations was absolutely mind blowing. Ok, so I got off topic from the RV Park. We would definitely stay at Willow Wind again, and as we are making plans to return to Zion for another visit. Happy Travels..
