On youtube there is a full timing couple who spend a lot of time in WA & OR. especially during the winter working out of their 5er. Their channel name is Josh and Kali | The Freedom Theory
They do the 1000 Trails thing and move every 14 days...Yes it does rain a lot on OR. Were actually heading that way next week to pick up a new RV in NE. OR.

You want rain...go to the mid west, and further east......what it does here would be considered a mist!

I used https://www.usclimatedata.com/climate/ and compared Sequim and Anacortes.
Sequim Oct - Apr 11.9" rain little or no snow
Anacortes Oct - April 21" rain and maybe 1" snow twice
Avg Highs in the 50s in both places and lows in the hgh 30s in Anacortes and in the 30s in Sequim
Both have nice campgrounds-
In Washington and Oregon you have choices - Dry and Cold - Eastern area
or Warm and wet - Western areas - Cold and wet along the coast.
You can always add 4 days travel and stay in Palm Desert I suppose

Live and camp in Oregon. Coastal is a little better for temperatures but a ton of rain. If you go to the Southern Oregon coast it is a little warmer rain. Valley is soggy and wet all winter with a few nice days but can get the damp cold that sits in your bones. Central Oregon can have nice sunny days during the winter but really cold at night. The cold in Central Oregon is not the damp cold of the valley. Going east from there is just bbbbbrrrrrrrr.
I stay in the area till after the holidays, mainly to hunt and fish, and spend time with family. There is a lot of great things to do, see and explore if you aren't afraid of the elements. I have camped in all sections of Oregon and prefer the coast and Central Oregon for winter camping. Come prepared for sudden temperature cold snaps and the tools to handle it, such as heated hoses, oil register heaters, blankets and warm waterproof clothing.
If you have any questions I would be happy to answer concerning Oregon. Oregon can be a outdoors paradise during the winter months. If you ski or snowshoe there are a ton of places to go. Fishing during the winter months is one of my favorite past times. The state has a lot to offer but it has to be what you are looking for.

DW and I are ex-pat Brits, so we're used to mild and soggy in the winter. We've lived in Kent and Everett while I worked at Boeing. After retirement, we waited one year picking out where to move to. After a lot of consideration, we settled on Anacortes.
Been here 18 years and we love it. Most of the time (Spring, Summer and early Fall) it's a delightful place. Never too hot, rarely above 75 in summer, thanks to very cold water in our local bay. Not too cold in winter, very few daytime highs below freezing and an acceptable rainfall pattern for us. The rain is usually light or even drizzle, but it doesn't hang around for weeks on end.
We are on the northern edge of the Olympic Mountains' rain shadow so our annual rain total is about half of what the Seattle/Everett area gets. Unless some debilitating old geezer disease gets me, the only way I'll leave here is in a wooden overcoat.

I live in Victoria which has about the least amount of rain in the Pacific Northwest...and I go south. It's grey and miserable here most of the winter, normally not freezing but can and it can also snow on the occasional year...I go south for the winter.
Any reason you would not consider staying further south until closer to your trip north? Anywhere south of Redding Ca. is reasonable weather.

X2 on Lewiston/Clarkston. It truly is the Banana Belt of the northwest. Plus a lot more sunshine than over on the coast.
