Didn't know that. We live about 5 minutes from bar harbor and use it as a quick weekend really love it but it can get cold in the winter being right on the water.

Corey, you are correct, Capital KOA closes starting in December. There is a distinct lack of decent parks near Baltimore. You probably don't want to be in a camper or even motorhome in MD during the winter.

Morning EdJody, Please listen to all the posters who advise against an RV stay in Jan/Feb. We are south of Baltimore about an hour and have lived in Maryland for 17 years. Those two months see extended temps of 28 to 35 degrees (highs) many people in the region suffer ruptured water pipes and ice damage as well.
Now I should practice what I preach, but, if my house does not sell we are going to winter over . Being a Newbie, I am not looking forward to this event and trust me, there is a number of things that need to be learned, bought, practiced and prepared for extended days below 30 degrees.
I would recommend renting a house or looking into an extended stay at local hotels. There are many Military/Civilian contractors who regularly travel into the area and stay 2 weeks up to months at a time depending on the contract work. So temp lodging in the Balto Area is available.
So Glad To Hear About Your New Arrival!
