Winter rv camp
Any suggestions on staying in warmer areas for winter? A friend of mine recommended Leaf Verde in Buckeye Az. Anyone know about this place?
What are rates for January through April, wifi , electric , laundry, dumping, activities , ect.

Have you tried looking for a web site?
Little to close to Phoenix, for my liking, traffic and smog.
Thousands of RV parks all over AZ. Prices all over the place $300 a month and up, way up.
I'll see if I have the tourist bureau link.

I've gone through what I have here in the house, I'll look through the coach in the morning. Can't find the tourism link.
DW's parents had a mobile home in Apache Junction, 20 years ago , we drove their personal belongings down for them so we've been going to various places in AZ for years , Snowbirding for the past 7.
AZ can get cool in Jan., last year there was a crisis of sorts when Phoenix had frost 4 nights in a row.
Cousins of DW , stayed in Brownsville TX, for years then moved to Chandler AZ, when the humidity along the Gulf Coast became to much for them. Her uncle from Toronto , looked at property in Florida but after renting for a season , decided the humidity there was too much, and is now in Scottsdale.
I'll post again in the morning when I find the info.

Give this site a browse.
Arizona Snowbird Parks
For a first year visit .
JMHO: Don't book for the whole year , book for a month; best rate is usually the month rate; that will give you a chance to check out the park and see if it lives up to your expectations. Have a second or third choice. The majority of the parks don't start filling up till after New Years, so if you can arrive in Nov. you can have you pick of parks.
Personally; I'm on the Colorado River near Parker, but the parks in the area are all older and a little shy on amenities. Been described as a 1 Star , Park with 5 Star People . Took me 3 years to find the right park for us.
