wintering in Southern Florida????

We just spent a month in Florida looking for a place to winter next year (Nov -April). Most of what we saw was mobilhome parks with a few open sites for us. We are looking for a place that we can fish in the gulf, ride our bikes and kayaks. the price would be no more than $600. plus elect.(which is our problem so far )

I live on Pine island (w. FL in back of Sanibel island) On Creaigslist there is a guy renting spaces on his property for $400 a month with full hook ups. Check it out. The island is very quiet and no crime. The gulf is minutes away with the best fishing in FL. and the nicest beaches. Just look on Creaigslist/Ft. Myers. Good luck!

Is that Encore Crystal Isles RV Resort? If so the reviews on rvparkreviews don't look too promising! Especially not a place you would want to stay several months.

The OP mentioned a price range. The CG recommended fits the requirement. The CG is under new management. Just had a rally there in February. It is not the nicest place in Florida, but adequate. There is a lot to do, in the area. The CG has deep water access to the gulf.
