wisconsin campground with dog beach?

I have searched the web but I havent found exactly what I am looking for. Im looking for a campground in central to southern wisconsin that would have a beach or shoreline that is dog friendly. If anybody knows of one or has first hand experience with one I would like to hear about it. My 3 year old golden retriever has not been swimming yet and he has some energy he needs to burn off.

Governor Nelson state park has a dog specific beach area. There is no campground at Governor Nelson, but it's just a couple of miles up the road from Mendota county park which does. These are on the far side of the lake from the city of Madison.

Stayed at Kohler-Andrae SP a couple of years ago. It has a dog friendly beach area separate from the regular beach. From their website:

Pets are allowed at your campsite, along park roads, the Black River Hiking Trail, the Black River Marsh Boardwalk, Marsh Trail, designated sections of the Kohler Dunes Cordwalk, the Fishing Pond Trail, and on the beach area north of the Nature Center only. Pet area map [PDF].

Kohler-Andrae is a beautiful park, but good luck getting into it, unless you're in a tent. Wisconsin state parks will generally book up solid through the good weather season a year in advance. If you have the flexibility to go mid week you may get lucky.
