Wondering about Marin Park, Inc., CA

Has anyone stayed at Marin Park, Inc.? We are interested in a nice place to visit San Francisco by ferry and Point Reyes Nat Park in August in our toad. Our motorhome alone is about 39'.
Thanks.

We haven't stayed there yet, but we are planning to at some point later this spring. Rvparkreviews are pretty good. The other 3 Bay Area parks we've used in the past, while ok, have us still looking.

biosensai,

Thanks for the response. From the looks of the non-action on this thread we may have the place to ourselves. Yeah, right...

In the past, we stayed at an older, and tight, rv park in Vallejo and took the ferry to SF. Fun! But that park was not in a nice area and it would have been a long walk to the ferry so we drove. We have also stayed in Novato but that meant a drive into the city.

Soooo, I think we will try to make a reservation in August at Marin RV.
Drive safely. Have fun.

I decided against listing the 3 parks we've used in the past, but you've identified one of them. I post evaluations on rvparkreviews & have started on rvparky. Our tentative plan is to try the park sometime after Easter, so you might watch for the post. We have an Adventurer 37f, so we are a similar size. Sure would be nice to find it a nice park, wouldn't it?

Napa Valley Expo is a nice place for big rigs. Drive to the Larkspur Ferry landing, board for a nice scenic trip which ends at Fisherman's Wharf and then pick up this fantastic small van tour:

Even our daughter, who lives in the city, was very impressed with the tour.

Hubby and I are currently staying here, have been here 3 weeks. Nice park, clean. Wifi is a bit spotty. Management was just overhauled a year ago, so they're still fixing the place up, but I've found it to be very nice and accommodating. We have a 37 motor home and they gave us two spots, 1 for the RV, one for the car. 20 min walk to ferry. Easy walk to trader joes, close to Safeway and some other shopping. Marin's also a nice area, so you don't have to worry about safety much.

Thanks for the information. Just what we were looking for. Will reserve for some August time.

Thanks, also. We're still hoping to get there this spring, but things keep popping up. Question. Did they give you a separate site for your toad because the sites are that tight, or simply because they have the room?

Thanks again.

I think a little of column A, a little of column B. I think in addition to the usual varying lengths of spots, there's some varying widths too. I think they're very accommodating. They also haven't charged us extra for a 2nd spot. If you do have issues, the street right outside the park typically has tons of spots for street parking.

Make sure to check out the food trucks at Larkspur Landing. Specifically Koja Kitchen.
