Woodward, OK to Glen Elder, KS

Traveling next week from Woodward, Ok to Glen Elder State Park, Ks. Maps showing about 300 miles. Wondering if there is anything I should be trying to see on this route. I would actually prefer to stop overnite around half way to break up the driving. I will be stopping in Dodge City, Ks on another trip. Any ideas on which roads and what to see or to avoid? Thanks.

If you stop in Greensburg, about halfway, there's these spots.

If you want to go a bit off the direct route, you could visit Dodge City.

BFlinn181 is correct, Greensburg is about it. There is a hand dug well and a meteorite Plus it is interesting to see Greensburg as it was almost entirely wiped out by a tornado, several years ago.

Thanks for the notice about Greensburg. Does look interesting. Sort of looking for a place to spend the night between Woodward and Glen Elder. Both places I am staying are without sewer to overnight in a campground with FHU would be a good thing.
