Word of caution - Nehalem Bay State Park electrical service

Stayed at Nehalem Bay State Park on Oregon Coast for 2 nights earlier this month. I was unable to use the 30 Amp service due to a reverse polarity error on my Progressive EMS. I reported this at the gate and an employee came by to check. He checked for voltage on the 20 Amp receptacles and said it all looked good to him (admitting electrical issues were not his forte). He did explain that if one pedestal was affected, the whole row may be affected as well.

I explained my fear of the potential issue with reverse polarity (hot skin) and asked for a service tech to come by to check this out. I never heard any more as we did not hang around during the day.
