Personalities

We've been to a few RV parks run by folks totally unqualified to be in any customer facing position. Even a couple where the 'managers' were the ones speeding, drunk & disorderly and so on.

Relate what happened to you in a review. It doesn't matter what 'the other side of the story' is. That's why it's a review and not a lawsuit.

I'm a big fan of rvparkreviews.com. We spent most of last year on the road covering FL to AK. We may have stayed some paces we wouldn't stay at again, but nowhere was really a diaster for us.

Wow, we stayed there a couple of nights a few years ago. The actual owners are really nice folk and all the people who we came in contact with who worked there were great so I'm rather surprised at this review. The park seemed a bit rough around the edges but the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Unless the kids in your group were acting wildly and bothering others or if in fact some of the adults in your group had too much to drink and were acting inappropriately, I can't imagine that they'd react that way to their customers. For them to call the police, something must have been happening that they determined was very inappropriate.

Are you sure that everybody in your group was not causing any problems at all?

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience and understand your being upset but I'd hate to have that park owner be accused of treating their customers in a bad manner if there wasn't something that justified their reacting in such a way.

I've been on several civil juries and on those civil trials I can guarantee you justice was done by myself and my 11 fellow jurors.

Aw, c'mon folks. Does anybody here actually think it's worth the OP filing a civil suit against this RV park?

Most small claims will be done without a lawyer anyway, correct? And in most states, there is no jury in small claims court.

Even if the OP decides to hire a lawyer to pursue a bigger claim against this RV park, what is the basis of his suit? What are his monetary damages? Should he hire a lawyer to get back the fees he remitted to the RV park for his stay? Of course not, it wouldn't be worth hiring a lawyer for that purpose. It wouldn't even be worth the hassle of taking the owner of the RV park to small claims court for that.

Unless he thinks he suffered such severe mental anguish because the RV park treated him so badly that he will suffer emotional scars for the rest of his life and can no longer work or make a living, no lawyer would suggest he sue the owner of this RV park unless the RV park was horrendously negligent where the OP could see judgement of millions of dollars as a result of the park's negligence.

My opinion is that the OP will lose if he decides to file any type of civil suit against the owner of this RV park.

So there!

So, just for clarification, your paid stay was already up and you were all still using the facilities while trying to negotiate the fee to let you all check out three or four hours late?

Maybe other campers complained about the noise being made by the large number of kids??
