My husband was mentioning that very thing last night. Thanks for pointing out a place that has the least expensive gas!

Yo make the choice.

Trip thru the Gulf Islands nicer ride.
I think , pops2, may have got in on the promotional fares.
You need to know what day and time he sailed on.
I had heard that Wednesday afternoon was a cheaper rate , but never got around to confirming that info.

We are doing a Monday to a Monday and the rate calculator said it would be $233 per way. That is for the RV, Toad and 4 passengers. When I made the reservation it did not give me a total; was only charged a holding fee that will be applied to the fare when we board.

It does but it takes you kind of out of town the opposite direction to ferry terminal. May not be worth it to save a buck or two.

May I assume we are talking Swinomish Casino? That is the first one I ran across when I searched on Google. If so it seems they have an RV park too. We needed a place for one night since the ferry is early in the morning. Might be worth just gassing up when we get in town and just staying there for the evening.

Except that you HAVE to go by it in your way into town from I5 on 20. Fill up before you get to your campsite.

If you are getting gas, stay to the far right and exit behind the store. if you are getting diesel, there is a separate island with your name on it.

True, I kind of had it in my head that fueling up would be the last thing you do before hitting the ferry but that is just how my brain organizes things sometimes. The advice about sticking to the right in the fuel bar if you are doing gas for an RV is really sound. There isn't a lot of room between the store and the gas bar to make a hard turn except from the right hand side.

I checked put Washington Park. It is a beautiful park but already knew that. The camping is tight and dark. Roads are narrow. I would not want to take mine in there.

The RV park at the casino looks pretty good. Not many trees, but clean and new. Of the choices we have discussed, this is the one I would choose.

We left on the 25th of April and there was no promotional fares. We did reserve a place, which cost 80$ but that was put toward the fare. The cost for us to go from Sidney to Anacortes was $158 and that was for a 36 ft MH and a toad Complete length was 58 feet. There was also my DW and myself,no charge for my 3 dogs. PS/
25th was a Friday.
