We stayed at the Yellowstone Valley Inn and RV Park. Yellowstone Valley Inn, RV Park & campground near Cody, WY & Yellowstone Park We really enjoyed it it is right on the Shoshone river about halfway between Cody and the East entrance to Yellowstone. We really enjoyed it and would recommend it. The views from the park were fantastic.

Absaroka Bay on the SE side of town is where se stayed the last time we were there. Paved sites and roads, FHU and cable. Prices are good and the laundry was excellent. In season the manager might offer you fresh tomatos off the vines. About 10 minutes to the river and 20 to Cody lake and dam.
Good base to visit the Chief Joseph Hiway and the Bear Tooth. Lots of things to see and good places to eat. Drive through the WalMart parking lot after dark and be amazed at the number of RVs parked there overniting.

We enjoyed the Ponderosa Campground Ponderosa Campground - Cody, WY - Home on the westside of town. Cody is a great little place that I hope to get back to before long.
