As in most of the states we have visited we have found Minnesota to be unique, in its own way. People like in most places we visit, are on vacation here in the “North County” as they describe this area on the Minneapolis News. And the area seems to have once been big in logging and now not so much, but everyone here has either country cabins or they call their place a resort open to the public. As a former native, I'd skip eating the rock bass, most are infested with some kind of worm. Just spent a week in Grand Marais, and are now in Two Harbors. Friends have a cabin in the works, we spent three days on the build. Mosquitoes were bigger than birds. Don't generalize too much on Minnesotans, plenty of 'well-rounded' individuals can be found~!
