As in most of the states we have visited we have found Minnesota to be unique, in its own way. People like in most places we visit, are on vacation here in the “North County” as they describe this area on the Minneapolis News. And the area seems to have once been big in logging and now not so much, but everyone here has either country cabins or they call their place a resort open to the public. Walleye and Trout are the fish of choice seems like and people fish structure in the middle of the lakes, don’t see much bank fishing from boats. Lois can catch what they call Rock Bass from the pier below where the Knutson Dam use to be and is now a Riprap affair with a deep hole below it. She likes her rubber worms there and twelve inch fish get on her line almost every time she launches her worm at the pool under the rocks...
