Yellowstone.

Thinking of towing our 28 ft Apex to Yellowstone from South Dakota. About 800 miles one way. Any one have info on campground rates in the area in early June?

Just go to RV Park Reviews - Trusted Reviews of Campgrounds & RV Parks and check out what that brings up.
Colter Bay and Flagg Ranch on south side to look at. Several private CGs at west entrance.
The rates won't change during the summer tourist season, and not much out of that window--if the tourists aren't coming, the snow is...

Here is Yellowstone's official site and keep in mind that all national parks and national monuments have an excellent site like this. It's full of helpful information, including roads and camping. As long as you're going to Yellowstone I certainly hope you'll be visiting Grand Teton Nat'l Park, too. It's right next door to the south and is completely different in looks and things to do. It's like a miniature Alps.

Wherever you end up, you better reserve it NOW! Yellowstone and surrounding areas fill up quick.

I just recently made reservations, about two weeks ago, for Mid-July, and she said I got the last site.

Stayed at the Wagon Wheel campground two years ago outside of the west entrance. One of the best campgrounds/rv parks we ever stayed at. DW still talks about how friendly and helpful the management was. Also, the laundry and bathroom facilities were immaculate.

Glad to hear that is a nice place. That is where we have reservations

Reviews on the internet were pretty good, so we snagged their last spot.
