We are going to travel from Oak Harbor, WA to Yellowstone. Can anyone give me information on camping in this area?

Plan early. We leave for Yellowstone and Fishing Bridge RV campground on the 17th of July. Made reservations back in November 07.

Plan on stopping at Siverwood on the way out for one night of dry camping.

I believe a friend of ours, HappyCarz, just stayed in West Yellowstone at the Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park. There are also a couple campground reviews on it here at iRV2. May be a bit pricey, but it is right at the west entrance of the park. Do you want to spend some time in the town of West Yellowstone or are you planning to stay at other locations around the park?

The CG Reviews are accessed at the top of the page in the blue menu bar. There are other campground reviews, listed by state. Curious which route you'll be taking.
