Yogi Bear Mexico

Nice place on the Little Salmon River BUT we received their '09 newsletter today and I couldn't believe my eyes:
Wristbands
"To ensure all persons and visitors, on the property are registered to be in the park, wristbands will be issued at the time of registration and must be worn for the length of the stay. This allows staff and campers to recognize those participating in activities and using the facilities actually belong in the park."

We camp there a few times a year and comply with their rules, but, this is over the top!!

Why not issue a shirt at check in, at least you would feel like a part of something not a patient in a hospital or a prisoner.

Sorry Ed we won't be back.

Joe

And...if you leave the park? I hope they (the wrist bracelets) undo instead if being "tamperproof" like the new hospital ones that have to be cut off with a scissor. Otherwise, you'd be walking around town with a campground ID on. At least if something happened to you outside the CG, someone would know where to find your Rig and pets and kids or whatever....LOL.

We stayed at an RV park in Ontario, near Niagara Falls, in 2007 that required wristbands for all campers & guests. We immediately cut them off our arms, then pinned them to our shirt or hung from the belt. This was acceptable to the park management; this is what most people did.

And besides, who wants a wristband tan line after a nice vacation??
