I haven't been to that park, but an alternate would be Lakeside RV Park in Livingston, about 25 miles further west. Lakeside is real nice. They take GS and PA.

Been there several times. Its only 45 minutes away. Its a pretty large campground with tons of kids. Plenty of scheduled activities like bingo, hay rides, yogi movies etc... Alot of bicycles and golf carts but no 4 wheelers or anything noisy. Good roads & hookups with decent sized sites. Need to let them know if you have a big rig so they put you in the front. Several nice big pools and a water slide. We always enjoy this campground. If you want quiet without kids this may not be for you. There is another campground about an hour west that is more adult oriented. Its called cajun palms in Henderson Louisiana. It has a nice bar on site and a small casino close by. Hope this helps.

Make that 2 hours. It's 95 miles thru Baton Rouge with a lot of construction on I-12 east of Baton Rouge. There's also a 55 mph speed limit (it says for trucks) while on the about 14 miles of the Atchafalaya Bayou bridge. Cajun Palms is a nice campground as long as they don't have a party weekend going with all night drunks.

You are right about the time & distance to cajun palms from Yogi. Its only about an hour from my house. Sorry about that wasnt trying to misslead anyone. There's also a state campground near Springfield that is real nice.

I'll second Lakeside RV park. It's exit 22 on I-12, go south about 1/2 mile on the left.
