Youghiogheny River Lake - Tub Run Campground

From the Uniontown Herald-Standard, February 2, 2014:

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said the Tub Run Campground only will be open during weekends and holidays this year due to decreasing occupancy, reduced funding, and increasing operations and maintenance costs for the facility.

This campground is located in southwestern PA.

Sorry to hear that...Hope this is not a trend for those out of the way parks. Will be at Laurel Hill SP. in mid June and then head down 219 into WV. near Davis for 10 more days. Along the way I'm going to check out some of the parks in Western Maryland.

Even Laurel Hill with 200+ sites might be 60% / 70% full on the weekends and maybe 10 or 15 RVers during the week.
