We will be leaving right after Christmas, anyone else from Michigan going west this winter?

Send a message via ICQ to Fred and Bonnie
If you want hook-ups call how, most parks with facilities are full already.

Thanks Fred great advice, we have been looking for private RV lots in the Yuma area seems to be plenty of them on Craigslist. We are not opposed to boondocking in the Q area for a month.

Private spots in Yuma & The Foothills will be wide open again this year as the Canadian Loonie is still down. Not nearly as many of our northern friends are making the trip.

I believe you will find many of the RV parks are no longer "full" for the season as many are coming later and leaving earlier. There is a short time frame of Jan/Feb and part of March where pickings may be on the slim side. Last year there was at least 20 open for the entire season at the park we stay at.

Would you mind sharing the name of the park you stay at?
Thanks

Go to Fortuna De Oro, you might want to stay all winter. All the private lots are nearby. Just drive around make a call.

Yup - big improvements recently in Fortuna. New owners and mega dollars spent. Very nice facilities.
