Zion and Bryce NP camping suggestions or ideas

Have to go to Vegas in June so thought we would check out Zion and Bryce NPs after that. The thought was to park the RV somewhere between Zion and Bryce and would like your ideas and suggestions. Have not been their in decades.

It's really best to move to each park for the best experience. It's not difficult to move and you'll save a lot of driving and you'll be more refreshed to tour.

We've stayed in both of the parks with our 40' motorhome. Have a good trip!

Spent a few days here in 2012 Welcome to Riverside Resort & RV Park - Southern Utah Accomodations

Nothing to write home about ,but between Zion/Bryce ~$30 a night. Restroom and showers were clean, folks friendly. We spent very little time at the RV park, long days in the NPs. Long pull throughs.

We stayed in the Watchman Campground right inside Zion. Watchman Campground - Zion National Park (U.S. National Park Service)
Walk to shuttle bus which is the only way to get to the Narrows. Also you can walk to Springdale, UT to shop (either via the bridge or wade across the Virgin River).

Make sure you check out the rules for getting your rig through the Zion tunnel:
The Zion-Mount Carmel Tunnel - Zion National Park (U.S. National Park Service)

Ruby's Inn RV park is right outside the entrance to Bryce Canyon NP. It is nothing fancy but has some large full hookup sites.

We're gonna try Pine Lake Campground in the dixie national forest this summer, about 40 min north of Bryce. High in elevation, no hookups at all. RV's up to 45'

We stayed in Panguitch UT and used it as a base for touring Bryce Canyon, Cedar Breaks NM, Zion and even Capitol Reef. It's only ~1 hour from the east side of Zion. We had reasons for staying put and we didn't mind the drive to the parks. If you're into ATVing Panguitch offers easy access to hundreds of miles of trails on BLM lands.
