2015 Tampa RV Supershow??

We would like to attend this and I have a few questions.

I mainly need to know how soon would I need to reserve a camping spot and where would be the best campgrounds to reserve at?

You wanting to stay on the grounds at the show or at some local park? If on the grounds I suggest the grounds I suggest the sooner the better. We stay off the road toward Thonotassa (sp?)

There is 30 amp power only. They usually open up for reservations by sometime in Oct and are sold out by Thanksgiving. Of course this can vary year to year. You can also dry camp in one of the parking lots for about $20/night.

Do the local campgrounds jump up their rates during this event? Being we have stayed at Lazy Day's before this would be our first option.

We dry camp on the grounds, might run the gen about a hour a day. Usually this is before dinner for the convection/microwave.

Hi reubenray,
For 45' coaches, Lazy Days is already sold out. The next best place is Tampa East. Go to Tampa East and take a look. This CG is about 10 miles from the Super Show.

Did you find this out by using their reservation system or call them? Their reservation systems shows no vacancies at all.

I got three nights booked at Lazy Day's. Friday night is completely booked. Surely we can see what we want to see in 2 days. I have not seen any ticket info anywhere. How much is it and can you leave and come back in on the same day?

Tickets are about $10 and they're good for two days and you can get a hand stamp to come and go.

Are there usually any deals on used models where they are traded in for new ones at the show?

Are there any good deals on used motorhomes at this show? It would appear there would be a lot of trade-in's for the latest and greatest models.

There are no used RVs at the show. New only.

However, some dealers may have info on their used RVs.

I realize that, but I figured there may be some deals for the trade-in's.
