Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta

We are going to the balloon fiesta this year. We are staying at the RV parking area at the launch site. They describe the parking area as "Rally-style parking". What exactly is "Rally-style". Thanks.

From what I've been described as rally parking is that it's pretty close together parking. You won't find yourself having the space you may have at a campground. Hope you have a great time, we were there few years back and it's something to see. We stayed in Santa Fe at a campground.

We were there . Two years ago we Paid $65.00 a night for a gravel parking lot, with no hook-ups. Park across the street. You will be bussed to the grounds. You will have water and electric. Wish we knew that then..I think that area was $39.00 a night. But you had to pay admission each day. Admission was included at $65.00 a day.

You may be better off camping on the edge of town if you can spare the gas in the future.
Here are some shots from today, the final day.
