Anyone been to Bonneville Salt Flats for Speed Week or World of Speed?

Hi All,

We are thinking of going to Bonneville for either Speed Week or World of Speed. I'm not really sure what the difference is between these two events. Has anyone been before? Which is better?

I've read there is dry camping available on some BLM land at "the bend in the road". Has anyone camped there? What's it like? Or are there RV parks in the area?

Any info or tips about attending the event would be appreciated. Thanks.
