Anyone going to RIR for NASCAR in April?

Driving from WI to VA for the Spring NASCAR event at RIR in April. We plan on arriving Thursday AM and staying in Lot J through the weekend. Towing the Harley on a trailer for some riding in WV afterwards. Hoping for good weather for the first voyage of 2013.

Any others headed that way?

I'll be there with the Titan. We aren't coming down until Saturday morning though.

Any advice on where to park in Lot J or do they park you based on when you get there?

I like parking towards the back of the lot. It doesn't completely fill up-- so plenty of space! Last September, they let us park wherever we wanted. Less rvs in the back meant less generators and not as packed for tailgating and a classic game of jarts.

As you come into the lot.. Off to the right is where you catch the tram to head inside. If you want a short walk-- park over that way. .

Awesome! I'm heading down in the morning in the Titan with a small crew. We splurged for the reserved rv lot ... and are going to have the Titan walking tall next to the $100k rv's.

Boogity boogity--- let's go racing!!!
