OK,----BRISTOL BABY.This is still the best in NASCAR.But this will be our last race live.may watch on TV.Even in Bristol we go for the overall event ,not just the Race.I know I will be fired up when the planes fly over, and the green falls, but its not the same as it was.(cost--drivers that do not give a dang about fans--campgrounds that gouge deeper ea year--) I know I will miss it,but having been around it for 50 years it has left me behind.I hope the new fans can find something in it as I have in the past. That said I am still going to have a blast at BRISTOL BABY. Will post where we stay on where we camp this wk.

We returned home from a week at Bristol on Monday. It rained the day we drove there and for several days prior, so I asked the CG to move us from our usual spot on grass to a higher location on gravel, which they did. We've been staying at the Shadrack CG for 5 years and they have not raised their prices at all during that time. I have four season tickets in row 59, Pearson grandstand and must say that Bristol has not raised my ticket prices in the 4 years that I've been a season ticket holder. Now, concession prices are a different story-big time gouging going on there!

The race is a different story. I am a NASCAR lover, but I must say that between the new car and the new track at BMS, the racing has suffered a lot. Oh, there is side by side racing......but it is quite boring for long periods of times. We heard this from many fans. Our renewal after the night race in August has yet to be determined at this point. It's still Bristol, but a different one!
