Anyone heading to the spring Bristol race? We're staying at Bill Gaines/Bristol Campground across from Copperhead Road. Our spot is J-24-17. Stop by to see us! We'll be there Fri., Sat., Sun., and leaving Monday early morning.

This is our first outing for this season. It can't get here quick enough!

Favorite drivers: Dale Jr. and Carl Edwards

We'll be there. Eight of us in friends MH (Beaver Santiam)will arrive Tuesday night. Staying at Earhart's CG. No assigned spots so we get there early to stay near the track. It's sure to be a good time.

Mike

Four of us are heading up to Bristol friday afternoon. What is the best way to handle getting a site, call ahead, show up and hope for the best?? I've gone for the past three years but this is the first time with the rig.

Fesedout.
The campground where we stay, Bill Gaines/Bristol, takes people without reservations, but, I would call ahead.
You can find the phone numbers for the campgrounds on the Bristol website. From the home page, go to the Fan Guide link, and a link for campgrounds will come up.
Hope the ground isn't too mushy, they've had ALOT of rain

Yea Friday and sat looks a little hairy. I heard that allot of the campgrounds have some flooding issues. Have you been there on a rainy weekend?

Nope, we've not been there during any bad weather, just HOT during August and COLD nights last spring. I guess it's now my turn to experience rainy weather. Oh well, I can deal with rainy weather if it doesn't interfere with the actual racing !!!
